“ I have been coming here for a long time back when the original owner's son and wife were working at this location. This place is as good as it gets. Their Hainanese chicken and curry items are always delicious and highly recommended. This time I just had their House Special Laksa with vermicelli as it has a bit of everything (e.g. tofu, fish cake, egg, sambal, Hainanese chicken, veggies, etc). Soup had great umami and with the sambal gives a nice kick to the already great laksa. Also my brother ordered their Hainanese chicken cake that he saw on an Instagram post and wanted to get it for our mom's bday. You need to preorder (3 days in advance I think) and when we opened it up, it was presented well and it tasted great (ignore the other cake in the pic but it was yummy too... lol). Will be coming back here in the near future. ”

“ Was craving some curry so ordered to-go for myself and wife. Ordered beef brisket for the missus and Curry Chicken for myself. Portion-wise, they give an excellent amount balanced against two standard scoops of rice. The taste of the curry itself is DELICIOUS: savory and hearty. Two gripes which resulted in removal of a star. Firstly, the 3 slices of cucumber: couldn't they give a few more to fill the space or maybe include a few slices of tomato? Secondly, the chicken is chopped poorly with shattered bones throughout the dish. I spent a lot of time spitting out bits of bone or trying to be careful that I don't get a bone sliver in my gums. Hopefully they see this feedback and can improve how they prepare the chicken and can give a bit more sliced veggies. Otherwise, the taste is delicious and they are super friendly! ”

“ Great spot for curry tucked away in the food court. My dad drove all the way to Surrey especially to get the beef brisket curry. In a hurry! The hainenese chicken is quite good too! ”

“ We visited this restaurant for many years. Food quality is maintained. Usually, my wife will order the A1 combo, which is the Hainanese chicken, and the curry. Recently, they increase the price by 10% , ($19.95 to $21.95). That I can understand. However, at the same time, the portion is reduced. The chicken leg is getting smaller, and the one shown in the picture is so called "large". Also the curry is getting less, as they put a bigger potato in the container. The potato is taking 1/3 of the volume. I do not mind they increase the price, but I do not feel good that the portion is so small that it cannot fill my wife's stomach. --------- After the previous review, I ordered the takeout twice. I found that the portion was increased to a very acceptable size. I appreciate the management really listens to the customer's voice. Now, I give them 4-stars, and will continue to support them. ”

“ Probably the best Hainan chicken and beef brisket curry you can get in Surrey. It’s a bit of a hidden location as it’s located inside a food court that’s attached to the T&T. For their chicken, they use free range chickens, which helps add to the quality. They’re also very generous on the brisket you get in your curry. Only downside is that they are on the more expensive side, especially given that they’re in a food court. ”
